ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 1890 MAHOGANY H&H FRENCH MANTLE CLOCK

   THIS IS JUST A SUPER NICE ELEGANT FRENCH MAHOGANY DRUM CLOCK WITH ORIGINAL FINISH, KEY, AND  MOVEMENT.  MEASURES 7'' HIGH BY 13'' WIDE AND 3 1/2'' DEEP.  I HAVE HAD IT SET UP AND RUNNING FOR A WHILE NOW.  IT HAS A BALANCE ESCAPMENT WHEEL AND YOU JUST GIVE IT A FLICK AND OFF IT GOES.  IF IT IS NOT PERFECTLY LEVEL IT WILL STOP AND START.  MOVEMENT IS SOUND AND THE SPRINGS ARE FINE.  SIGNED H&H FRANCE ON THE MOVEMENT.  DIAL IS HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN AND THE BEZEL IS THE ORIGINAL THICK BEVELED GLASS.  THE FACE IS FLAWLESS, BUT THERE IS SOME CRUD ON THE GLASS THAT SHOWS IN THE PHOTO.  IT JUST NEEDS TO BE WIPED OFF THE GLASS.  THE CASE LOOKS REALLY NICE.  THERE ARE A FEW SMALL SCRATCHES HERE AND THERE.  THE PATINA ON THE MAHOGANY IS BEAUTIFUL.  A VERY HIGH QUALITY LITTLE CLOCK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT ON A DESK OR MANTLE.  IF YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A VERY UNUSUAL PIECE FOR YOUR PARLOR THIS IS THE ONE.  An excellent INVESTMENT QUALITY addition to any collection.  Feel free to email with any questions.  Please do not wait until the last second to bid, as I will not open an item back up if you are closed out in the last seconds by another bidder.  I am constantly listing good victorian items, as well as early lighting, and other quality items, so watch my auctions.  If you need to contact me directly my phone number is 1-315-405-6450.
