This is a amazing sofa couch. We bought this from a estate sale. The sofa is from 1850. It is Empire period.

It has wonderful tufting with buttons. The wood is curved and fancy and carved. It at one time has been upoholstered in crushed velvet blue. We never touched the sofa and liked it the way it is. Of course it can be reupholstered if desired. It is sturdy and firm..no sinking in this one! The wood could be touched up with stain if desired. We liked it just as is which is very beautiful. There is one tiny hole in the upholstery on the seat part in the back which I have pictured. There also is one chip in the wood on the left side of the left leg on the sofa.

Considering the age of this piece it is in nice shape. NO RESERVE

Measurements: 82 1/2" Wide X 28" Deep  approx 26" tall on each side to arm rests..33" smallest point and more tall on the back depending on how tall the design  on the frame.
