A fine, heavily repousse, hand chased, Victorian sterling silver tea set with tray.

This set is not often seen or available. Especially with NO MONOGRAM and in this excellent A+ condition. 

Of particular note is that the set includes both exemplary craftsmanship and substantial weight. In fact, the first thing you'll notice when unwrapping the set is that the pieces are very heavy. Not the thin, easy to ding stuff that is mass produced. They are not oversized and therefore heavy, they are just thick and hefty. For example, the teapot weighs over two pounds. Or the sugar bowl...it weighs over 18 ounces...that's heavy...

Watson really hit a home run with this set. They call the pattern Meadow Rose. It's by far, better than anything they've made in a tea service.

Most folks aren't aware that Watson has a rich history in silversmithing. This set is of their earlier quality, not the later mass produced thin stuff that flooded the market.

There are five sterling pieces that sit atop a fine silver plated tray. All of which are in A+ excellent condition and none of which have monograms, repairs, damage or any other condition issues. Hinges are not loose. Lids sit flush. Notice the heat stop on each finial handle (a quality feature not often seen). There are no dents or dings.
