AS PIC 1 SHOWS THERE IS A CHIP OUT OF THE MOUTH PIECE WHICH CAN BE REMOVED BY SCREWING IT OFF AND REPLACING IT IF YOU WISH. THE PHONE HAS  ALL OF THE ORIGINAL WIRING, 3 PRONGS ON THE END. MARKED KELLOGG ON THE FRONT. ON THE BACK OF THE MOUTHPIECE ARE THE PATENT DATES; PAT, D-NOV.26 1901-MARCH 19.1907./APRIL 14.1908. THE HAND EAR PIECE IS MARKED ON THE BACK WHERE THE CORD COMES OUT; KELLOG S&S. COMPANY CHICAGO U.S.A. THE PART OF THE EAR PIECE THAT IS AGAINST YOUR EAR IS MARKED KELLOGG SWITCHBOARD AND SUPPLY CO CHICAGO. THE ARM THAT HOLDS THE EARPIECE WHEN NOT IN USE IS ALSO MARKED PATENT PENDING 84.
