This is a beautifully crafted "Metronome de Maelzel" in very good working order.

The brass plate on the front reads "METRONOME DE MAELZEL" Paris, France, Londres, Bruxelles, Hollande, Amerique.

The front wooden plate is removed to reveal the 'pendulum' and the scale, which has a large anchor printed on the bottom end. The printing on the top end of the scale has worn off in places.

 There is a small round brass wind up key that is in working order. The brass workings are in working order.

It measures 23cm (9') high and the base span is 12cm (4.5") wide.

The bottom base plate (which is unseen) does not appear to be the original one.

It is sold as is and in original vintage condition, with slight wear marks and very minor dents.
