Place your bids on this antique and highly-collectible Waterman Ideal 52 flex nib fountain pen, c. 1918. It is a lever filler. The pen is black chased hard rubber with nickel trim and features a Waterman Ideal #2 flex nib. The fountain pen is in very nice estate condition, showing minor signs of wear (there is a scratch on the rubber below the nib; it has a new sac), and measures approximately 5.25" long. The fountain pen is marked as follows: Nib: "Watrerman's Ideal New York 2" Lever filler: "Ideal" Barrel: "Pat'd. 1884 May 23, 1899 & Aug. 4, 1903 Waterman's Ideal Fountain Pen N.Y. U.S.A."
