ANTIQUE WEIGHT DRIVEN VIENNA REGULATOR CLOCK CASE

Fresh from a local estate, here is a beautiful antique Vienna Regulator clock case for a 3 weight movement.  It is in nice overall condition with its carved two tone topper, but one side glass is broken and the bottom finial is missing. The finish and veneer is good overall except for one small piece of missing veneer near the center top, and a couple of vertical veneer surface cracks on each side near the top.  Other than that, you will find a handful of typical and tiny surface flaws and imperfections, but nothing major.  It features nicely carved half-columns on both sides and a front glass in excellent condition.  I am not really sure exactly what type of wood or finish this has because that is not my forte.  There are four small holes where a single movement was once mounted near the inside top.           

It measures about 45" in total height, or 40 1/2" high with the topper removed. The total width is 17 3/4" wide and 7 3/4" deep at the top. The interior width is 10 1/4" x 30 1/4" high x 3" deep. The front glass area measures 26 5/8" high x 7 1/2" wide.  It weighs just a little over 20 lbs. unboxed.
