 When's the last time you saw one of these for sale? A fine example of a very scrace Archaic Period artifact - this Lamine Knife was most likely a creek find and shows a very polished patina. Part of the Larenzo Badge collection which was assembled in the early 1900's. Comes with a COA from Ben Stermer and is an obviously ancient example! The origin is not known but is most likely a Missouri piece or possibly Illinois. The majority of these knives are recovered in Missouri. A very nice example of a hand held blade which was used to cut back grasses and thatch! The pictures don't do this piece justice!!
