AR Antique-Hand Painted-Naive Art-Primitive-Decor Table

This ONE-OF-A-KIND occasional,  accent table,  has been consigned by a local artisan here in Arkansas.  It has been used as an accent table in his reception area,  and is being sold, as he prepares to move into a smaller building.

THERE IS NO RESERVE PRICE ON THIS ITEM.   IT  was a naturally distressed antique table, which was painted (antiqued) and decorated by another Arkansas artisan of this area.  The painted deoration on top is designed to look like an old colorful woven table mat which has been faded by time worn use and laundering. At the ends of this pretending mat,  you can see a "knotted fringe" of this woven mat.

The joints appear solid and tight, but there is a bit of looseness, if one pushes it about as one does when giving a a really careful examination and evaluation.  But the table is being used and is totally functional!    The tiny wood trim along one bottom edge of one side of the apron on the table is missing, (but not easily noticed as it was missing already when the artist painted it)  

If you look very close you may be able to see in one of the photos shown here that this is a minor flaw.  The table definitely is sturdy enough that the buyer can continue to use it  with confidence.....just as it has and is still being used to display some of the owner's collectible items,  such as a candle holder and candle,  several frames with photos, a short stack of books, a potted plant,  and several other decor pieces.   (One wouldn't want to SIT on it.....  ....so I thought I should try to describe this THOROUGHLY).   PLEASE DO EMAIL US OR TELEPHONE US IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS  UNIQUE  AND  LOVELY   ITEM   OR   ABOUT SHIPPING.
