ARISTO AVIAT 617 FLIGHT SLIDE RULE COMPUTER WITH CASE

MADE IN GERMANY

Up for auction is this vintage pocket flight computer with its leather case, made in Germany by Aristo.  It is a double-sided slide rule for calculations needed for flying and navigation, and is in excellent used condition. 

The case is in good condition with only one tiny scuff on the back where the centre screw sits underneath.  Though one side of the zip stitching has come away for 5cm on the left,  it still sits flush with the other side and does not gape.

While pulling the slide rule out of its case, one side of the zip stitching has come away right around the top.  I imagine it could be restitched or glued.
