This is an incredible offering of mine run crystals .  You get a flat rate box with  crystals and pocket clay  , with a gauranteed minimum wieght of 8 pounds !  Before I get started with the description of this crystal , I would like for you to check out this youtube video that shows me digging in one of the arkansas crystal mines  .  DOUBLE CLICK THE TRIANGLE to start the video playing ( dont worry , this wont make you leave this page but will play right here on ebay)You'll get a   mix of crystals from the arrowhead in mt. ida , Arkansas , from the Lonesome Dove in Jessieville , Arkansas  and from my clear crystal mine in Lagrange , Georgia  PLUS   I throw in some Herkimer Diamond quartz crystals in the box as well !    I  have some mines in Herkimer , New York and so  you get a few small herkimers too !   This is the cheapest and best way to buy crystals on ebay .  if you bid on single nice crystal the price runs very high .  If you order the cleaned ones that come in lots of 20 , or in pounds where they have been cleaned ,  these have been  inspected  and graded out , presorted for bulk sale .  Mine are still dirty and have not been checked for phantoms , inclusions , windows , dow points , isis faces  ,or rare shapes or forms , etc .   You'll  get an incredible amount of crystals packed in soil / pocket clay & and I gaurantee that the retail value of the pieces exceed $100 if bought seperately .  I have included some pictures of what you can expect as far as quality after cleaning   but please note THE CRYSTALS YOU GET WILL BE DIRTY AND WILL NEED CLEANING --- some may need to be soaked in super iron-out  others may need oxalic acid , but with every purchase I will tell you where to get it in your neighborhood for less than $8  !  While this is not shown in the pictures , you will often get a good many jewelry points , or small water-clear perfect crystals that will be great for wire wrapping , earings , pendents , etc ( each box is different and exact contents are not gauranteed , "often" means "often" , which means some boxes may not have small sized jewelry points ) .   Crystals are range from top quality , water clear , shiny , to crystals that are etched or have a foggy non-shiney outer surface &  they do vary in size and condition.You'll find plenty of good points but plenty of dinged and broken ones too ( that's just the hard life and bitter truth when it comes to working crystal pockets ) .  You'll get mostly single points but some clusters too !  You'll get large and small crystals , just whatever I happened to be digging that day ..........nature usually provides a good natural assortment  .   Size and contents vary from box to box and no two will ever be the same .   This is real unsearched material :   When I am digging these go straight into the containers and when your order comes in I will empty out and weigh up 8 pounds .DOUBLE CLICK THE TRIANGLE to start the video playing ( dont worry , this wont make you leave this page but will play right here on ebay)Please note that in the video above I mention 12 pounds of crystals , this particular fixed priced listing is for 8 pounds of crystals .   You will get some material from the buckets actually shown in the above video though (  mix of material from arrowhead , lonesome dove , Arkansas and also the lagrange ,Georgia crystal mine ) . No one knows what is in this !   I can say that we sometimes find Dow , channeling , isis, recorder faced , double terminates , penetraters , and more in this mine .  A few will even have matrix of quartz  and others may have a matrix of sandstone .   While rare , you may encounter blue phantoms , green phantoms , white phantoms or inclusions  ( this is very rare , so dont expect it  , though it is possible ) .  This could have anything in it !      Half the  crystals will come clean with soap and water , while some  will have an iron stain . Some folks actually like the stain and leave it on , while some folks like theirs totally clean , and they soak them in SUPER IRON OUT ( available at wal-mart ) .  These would make great gifts for any child that has expressed an interest in rockhounding , and a perfect introduction to the hobby to those that have not . Not to say this is not an adult worthy quality , heck , I sure liked digging them ! That's not all !  I'll also though in a few amethyst crystals and star rose quartz too , for everyone that asks ( must include request on paypal payment so that I can be reminded as I am filling the order ) .  This is a heavy item and must go in a ten dollar flat rate shipping box .The bright side of this is that there will be some room left in the box and you can order additional items with FREE shipping on anything that you combine with this order  provided you dont go over the 16 pound weight limit that I can safely fit in the flat rate box ( has to be only ONE PAYMENT to combine items ) .
