Originally established by the U.S. Army Air Corps as a means of capitalizing on America's advantage in powered flight, the Army Airborne Division has developed into one of the nation's most powerful strategic assets.
Army paratroopers gained acclaim during World War II for their heroic role in America's success at the Battle of Normandy in 1944, a turning point in the war that helped launch the Allied victory a year later. Over the years, paratroopers have been utilized successfully in America's military operations throughout the world adding a powerful element to the world's most fearsome military force.
This coin salutes the proud heritage and significant contribution of the U.S. Army's Airborne Division.
Minted in a brass alloy, this coin is coated with an antique bronze finish. Featuring the words "Airborne! All the Way," the obverse contains an enameled rim. The reverse contains a space for engraving.
I use the #1 Challenge Coin Manufacturer to mint this coin. The same company that provides the President and Joint Chiefs of Staff with the coins they hand out. This company is also a proud member of Challenge Coin Association.
It has been suggested that I am an "Icon" and "Expert" in the Challenge Coin Community as the Founder and President of Challenge Coin Association, the World's Premier Forum for ongoing Challenge Coin discussions, and JAYMEDINC Challenge Coin Stores, industry leader in Challenge Coin sales and custom coin design. This auction is for ONE coin like the one pictured. I may or may not have had a few like this in stock, identical to the one in the photo, at one time or another. The coin in the photo, may or may not have a flaw, such as a scratch etc. The coin you get, may or may not have that same flaw. You can judge the size of the coin with the blue ruler in the photo. Each black line is 1/16th of an inch.
I store my coins in either a vinyl coin flip or a zip bag and bubble wrap to protect them during storage and shipment.

Payment must be sent within 5 days of closing of this auction. If sent by mail, you must let me know it has been sent to avoid the item being re-listed. If payment is received, by Monday noon EST, you can be sure it will get to the post office by Tuesday at the latest, most likely Monday. Other days of the week are more sporadic.
Please note that there is a handling charge included with the posted shipping and insurance price. This is to defray the miscellaneous costs of shipping your product in packaging that will keep it safe during the shipping and handling process. For each purchase, International buyers are required to pay $1 for insurance. This is to protect you and me from the high level of theft in these transactions. Because of fraud and theft by a few bad apples, I won't be selling "lots" of more than 1 item to any non-US addresses any more. I appologize to all of you who are honest, but I am sure you understand why I am doing this. I gladly ship to FPO/APO addresses.
UNDERSTAND, THAT MY SHIPPING CHARGE MAY BE MORE THAN THE COST OF YOUR STAMP. NO NEED TO LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK DUE TO YOU AGREEING TO THIS FEE, BY CLICKING CONFIRM. INTERNATIONAL S&H IS MORE THAN DOMESTIC, BECAUSE I HAVE TO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR YOUR PACKAGE. I AM VERY SORRY IF YOU FEEL THE CHARGES ARE TOO MUCH FOR YOU.
FeedBack is a Very Important Part of the eBay Auction Process. If you have any problems, let's see if we can work it out.
If payment isn't received by 14 days, you can expect your Unpaid Item Strike and NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. (Please honor this Contract)
