Exceptional Vintage Swan Settee designed by Arne Jacobsen for the Royal SAS Hotel in Copenhagen, 1957 and put into production for Fritz Hansen around 1958. This vintage example dates to the early years of production and was professionally reupholstered around 10 years ago by the previous owner in authentic Knoll Tan Boucle fabric which was quite expensive. The sofa has new soft foam as well. It retains the Fritz Hansen foil Label and all hard plastic foot glides. Truly a beautiful and rare Modern Classic design in person!

The settee is in excellent ready to use condition showing no signs of breaks or damage to the aluminum base only minor surface scratches and signs of age. The Knoll Fabric was not very well maintained and developed several stains on the seat which I did not attempt to remove but I believe would easily clean up. The sofa measures 56" long x 29" wide x 29" tall and 21" deep. The Swan Sofa Retails new from Fritz Hansen for $6624. Fantastic addition to your Modern home. Buyer pays shipping via plycon blanket wrapped to your home.
