This circa 1930 Art Deco Chinese Oriental rug measures 2’8” X 4’9’. It has gray field with a lavender border. In the lower left there is a small house on a rocky shore. In the lower right there are two small houses with a haystack on a shore with large trees growing out of rocks. In the upper left there are rocks coming out of the shore with clouds and a moon. In the upper right there is a two story pagoda with trees growing out of a rocky shore. The rug is in good condition except for one low spot as photographed. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance of 35.00.

rug does not always affect the rugs appeal or value.

collectors of old rugs we may overlook or forgive flaws in these rugs that may be
