Offered for your bidding consideration is this wonderful handblown Art Nouveau Art Deco one of a kind lampworked vase by world renowned art glass artist Grant Randolph. Grant started blowing glass in California (I believe in Santa Barbara) in the early 1980's. He relocated to the east coast where he is still making incredible works of art. This particular vase is one of his earlier pieces and comes out of my personal collection. The inside of this gorgeous vase is aquamarine in color. This has been cased in clear glass on the outside and would be considered a "paperweight" vase due to its size, shape and weight. It contains two butterflies with reddish wings and black bodies. There are also two white flowers and trailing white vines adorning this lovely vase. It measures 5 & 3/4" tall and 3 & 1/2" at it's widest point. It is in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, nicks or repairs. It is properly signed "1985-A762 Grant Randolph Studios". Most of Grants work in vases is traditional and not lampworked although he does make alot of lampworked paperweights so I consider this vase to be somewhat rare. The color (aquamarine) is also uncommon for his work. Add to that the fact that this is an early representation of his art glass mastery and this vase would make a great addition to anybodys art glass collection! Shipping insurance is required for all purchases. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions and please review my other listings for more unusual and unique art glass wonders produced by some of the worlds best art glass artists!
