ART NOUVEAU ART DECO ART GLASS WINE STEMS R. STRONG

Offered for your bidding consideration is this extremely rare and unusual Art Nouveau Art Deco handblown set of art glass wine stems executed by world renowned art glass artist Randy Strong of Healdsburg, California. Randy has been a premier glass blower for over 40 years. His phenominal works are contained in the permanent collections of the White House, The Smithsonian Institute and The Corning Musuem of Glass just to name a few. Randy has always preferred the small studio environment and as a result typically works by himself or sometimes with one assistant. His designs, shapes and colors and his sense of proportion and attention to detail make him one of the most sought after and highly collected artists of our time! The goblets or wine stems were made in 1983. They consist of a clear glass bowl with an irridescent blueish silver throat and foot. The clear glass bowl has received a wonderful treatment of pulled and combed feathers in various shades of blue. These goblets have a wonderful feel to the hand and look magnificent with your favorite beverage or all by themselves. They each measure about 8" tall and 4" at their widest point.This unusual and highly collectible set of stems is a stunning example of the studios superior craftmanship and attention to detail!  They are all  properly signed "R Strong 83" and each has a studio sticker attached as well. They are all in in wonderful condition with no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs. This extremely rare and unusual set comes out of my personal collection.
