ART NOUVEAU ART DECO CAMEO ART GLASS VASE ZELLIQUE b

Offered for your bidding consideration is this gorgeous Art Nouveau Art Deco handblown art glass vase made by the world renowned Zellique Art Glass Studio fomerly of Benecia California. Joe Morel started Zellique Art Glass Studio in 1980 after leaving Orient & Flume in Chico California where he was one of their top glass blowers. Unfortunetly for all of us Jim closed Zellique in 2002 in order to devote his time to teaching. This large and wonderful art glass vase is a true testament to Jim's genius and affinity for color, shape, size and proportion! It is an intriguing irridescent cranberry color with a square bottom that flares outward on all four sides. Phyllis Polito has worked for Joe Morel and Zellique Studios for many many years. Her designs and engraving technique are known throughout the world for their intracasy and attention to detail. This vase is no exception! Phyllis has carved a nonrepeating pattern of flowers, buds, leaves and stems on three of the four sides of the vase. Please review all of the pictures in order to get an idea of the craftsmanship and time and effort that went into creating this true work of art. The vase measures a large 9 " tall by 7" at its widest point. It is in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, nicks or repairs. It is properly signed "Zellique Studio JM1997" and "P.
