Altered art involves the bringing together of the unexpected ~ metal hardware for findings, and wooden cutouts or recycled gaming pieces.
In making this pendant, I cover my recycled frame with two different colors of paint to give it a beautifully "antique-d" look. I affix the image with decoupaged glue and then coat it with several more coats of the decoupage sealer to protect the image. Finally, I apply a high quality glaze to further protect the image and to give it a glorious glow.
