OCTAVE DRIVE ARTEC's latest pedal to their growing line is one we've all been waiting for....an octave box! Not just any octave box but one with serious overdrive built right in. Based on the octave boxes of days past but with a modern twist, the OCTAVE DRIVE produces an octave lower but adds a unique feature in the form of a BLEND switch. It is essentially a phase shift of the octave which you have the ability to modulate in realt time with the EFFECT LEVEL. The DRIVE (overdrive) feature is independent, can be turned on/off and has both a DRIVE LEVEL and DIRECT GAIN controls to dial in the tone you desire. ARTEC knows how to build overdrive and distortion boxes so there is plenty of thunder packed into this feature. Don't forget the EFFECT LEVEL which is the output of the octave effect itself. Blend it with some overdrive for some serious soloing or turn of the DRIVE feature and fatten up those notes with just the lower octave. It is like getting two effect boxes in one!
