• When utility power fails for just 3 seconds or more, the Series 165 Automatic Transfer Switch signals the generator to start.

• In less than 30 seconds your electrical power is restored and life returns to normal.

• Once the Series 165 Automatic Transfer Switch senses utility power has reached an acceptable voltage level for a period of time, it automatically reconnects your home or business to commercial power.

• It then smoothly shuts the generator down after a 1-minute cool-down period to extend generator life.

• The Series 165 Automatic Transfer Switch automatically performs a test to simulate utility power failure every 14 days.

• The user-friendly control panel also allows you to manually run a test at the push of a button.

• LED indicators let you know the availability of both power sources and transfer switch positions.

To obtain a UL-1008 listing a transfer switch needs to undergo rigorous testing to insure it's safety. When comparing transfer switches beware of manufacturers that will try to deceive you with phrases like 'designed to UL-1008 standards'. If a transfer switch meets this tough standard, and has been certified by Underwriters Laboratories it will carry the UL-1008 label. If it doesn't carry this label it is not legal to install it in the US. Municipal electrical inspectors are just now starting to 'catch up' with this federal code requirement, and are looking for a UL-1008 label when they come out to inspect your installation.

All ASCO transfer switches are UL-1008 listed, and meet all code requirements.

AUCTION TERMS

• This transfer switch is warranted to be brand new and comes with a 18 month ASCO factory warranty. The name of our company is Big Lake Supply LLC. We are an authorized ASCO dealer and have been a dealer since 1999.
  
  If you mistakenly order the wrong transfer switch for your application we'll allow you to return it, in as new condition, within 2 weeks,  in exchange for the correct switch, minus our shipping charges. Otherwise there are no returns or refunds, except as provided in the ASCO factory warranty, which can be downloaded above.

• Shipping will be via UPS ground or FEDEX ground (our choice) and will be paid by the seller (that's right FREE shipping) Shipping will be the next business day after the auction closes and we'll e-mail you the tracking number that evening.

• Payment will be via paypal, credit cards, or money orders only. Payment must be made within 3 days of the auction ending. If you are paying via money order, please e-mail us to let us know.
