ASHER & ADAMS ATLAS of NEW YORK 1870 COMPLETE MAPS BOOK ( APPROX 12 x 15 inches ). the MAPS ( COPPER ENGRAVED, LITHOED ) THEMSELVES are ALL in NICE HIGH GRADE CONDITION, BUT the BOOK ITSELF is in SAD SHAPE, COMPLETELY MISSING the SPINE, WHERE the FRONT COVER is HELD on by a MERE THREAD. The BLANK INSET PAGE is CUT in HALF. The TITLE PAGE has the DATE ( 1870 ) WRITTEN in PEN ( FOUNTAIN, OF COURSE ). The BOTTOM CORNERS of ALL the PAGES HAVE a SLIGHT CORNER BUMP EXTENDING a few MILLIMETERS in, BUT NOT TOUCHING any MAPS & the BACK COVER is WELL AGE STAINED.
