THIS IS A SEVEN-DAY, NO RESERVE, AND INTERNATIONAL COLLECTIBLE BRIAR PIPE AUCTION.PLEASE CLICK HERE TO VIEW ALL OF THE OTHER BEAUTIFUL, NEW, OR FULLY RESTORED AND RECONDITIONED HIGH GRADE COLLECTIBLE PIPES THAT I HAVE LISTED FOR AUCTION THIS WEEK ON EBAY!
You are bidding on a very lightly formerly enjoyed Ashton XXX size stamped, "Pebble Grain" sandblasted finish "Lovat" shaped pipe, with a hand cut vulcanite stem, that was hand crafted by William Ashton Taylor, in England, in 1989. This was only the fifth full year of Ashton's production. Yes, this is a highly desirable and very collectible "early period" Ashton pipe in an exceptionally crisp and clean condition! Ashton pipes are oil cured, just like the Dunhill pipes of yesteryear. This produces a very sweet performing pipe with a very easy break-in period. This beautiful pipe has everything going for it! It possesses a wonderful balance and “hand feel”, while delivering a very cool, sweet, and mellow performance! Please don’t miss this opportunity to own and enjoy this amazing pipe!
This pipe has been thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, rejuvenated, and polished, both inside and out. It is in a clean and pristine issue free condition that is ready to deliver immediate enjoyment right out of the box. Here are the dimensions of this classic Ashton pipe: The overall length is about 6.0". The bowl height is just over 2.0". The tobacco chamber is about 0.85" in diameter, and gradually tapers down the bowl's 1.80" inner depth. Capacity is about that of a Dunhill Group ODA to 6 size pipe. This wonderful pipe weighs 52 grams. The original Ashton pipe sleeve is included.
Once again, this is a seven day no reserve pipe auction. I do not believe in "Reserve" or "Buy it Now" prices. I want the lucky high bidder to own and enjoy this pipe and not have him frustrate himself with bidding on a pipe that is not attainable on a price basis! Just be the high bidder at the close of this auction, and you will win what could again prove to be the best pipe in your collection! Please read and review my eBay ratings and comments. Check out the "ME" section after my eBay name "coopersark". I think that you will find this information very informative and telling! Please feel free to send me an e-mail with any questions that you may have about this pipe. I want you to bid with the highest of confidence! I use only the best of packaging materials. The pipes that I ship have too much time and labor lavished on their restoration and presentations as well as the many of these pipes are irreplaceable works of art. I am not going to risk damage by using lesser packing. Unfortunately, this has to be reflected in my shipping costs, so please bid accordingly. The winning bidder will include an additional $10.00 for Priority Mail shipping, tracking, and insurance. (Foreign bidders will include an additional $12.00 for International Air Mail shipping.) Thank you for your interest. Please do not forget to check out my other auctions! Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!
