" Asian girl in Palm Grove ". Original oil on canvas laid on panelboard: canvas/image size: approx: 14 inches by 11 inches: signed lower left - " Joseph Gomez " : circa 1940/50: ( framed ).

The name Joseph Gomez has appeared on several highly professional oils from the 1940s and 1950s that have come on the art market in recent years. Some collectors believe that it was a pseudonym used by the painter, Carl Oscar Borg.

NOTE: This work is in excellent original condition: the work is framed in its original fine carved painted and textured gold leaf frame with original linen liner: frame size is 14 x 11 inches.( actual color is closest to that in my flash photos taken at an angle ).
