These
all
original stories feature Ka-Zar in "The Battle of New Britannia!"
by Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich
and
Herb Trimpe and Doctor Doom in "Though Some Call It Magic!" by Gerry
Conway and Gene Colan.
The
third story is "This Badge Bedeviled!" - a tale of suspense.

ABOUT
THE CONDITION OF ALL RARE COMICS OFFERED FOR AUCTION:
All
books offered by RARE COMICS are carefully reviewed from cover-to-cover
to establish
condition.
This includes all books offered individually or as part of a larger set.
Unless
specifically
stated otherwise in the section directly below, all of the following
conditions
apply
to the book(s) in this auction:

The book is a first edition.
-
The book has not been restored.
-
The book is complete with all the original pages and covers included and
no missing pages,
covers, panels, or "chunks."
-
The pages and covers are attached at both staples (or are glued at the
spine in the case of
"square bound" books) and none of the pages or covers is detached from
the spine.
-
The book contains no visible tearing on the covers or pages.
-
The book is not water or liquid damaged in any way and the condition of
the back cover is
consistent with the appearance of the front cover in the auction scan(s).
-
The condition of the inside pages is (at least) a "cream" color and is
usually off-white or white.
Pages are not brittle in any way and the book will hold up to normal reading
without degrading.
-
The book is currently stored in a protective plastic comic bag with cardboard
backing and will
be shipped that way. The bags and backings are recently manufactured and
have not degraded
due to age.
CONDITION
OF THIS BOOK:
A
solid high-grade copy!
There
is a very small piece of tape placed (very nicely) at the bottom 3/4-inch
of the spine. This tape will not be
visible
in the scans because it is only on the spine-edge of the book. The top
of the spine is slightly blunted and
abraded.
There is very mild stress along the edges of the covers at a few points.
Otherwise, this one's a gem!
The
cover is completely crease-free with deep and bright cover color and just
about all of the original cover gloss
still
visible. The book is complete, tight and flat with no loose or missing
pages, covers, chips or chunks. The inside
paper
is cream to off-white - supple and very readable.
