If you have already your GSM Unlocked Phone, all you need to do to get started is charge your battery and dial 611 from your GSM Phone to activate your account. You can activate your account by dialing 1.877.426.0525 from any land line phone as well.
Refilling Your Account
At&t Pay as You Go service allows you to pay in advance for your airtime. When your account balance is depleted or running low, simply refill your account in one of the following ways:
To pay cash, visit one of 60,000 Cingular or At&t stores, authorized dealers or retail locations in the U.S. including Gas Stations and 7-11 stores.
To pay by credit card simply dial 611 form your phone or dial 1.800.901.9878 from another phone.
Service Life
The Cingular SIM card is valid for 30 days from the day of activation. It's easy to add more time to your account. Cards are available in several denominations starting at $15. The $15 refill card extends the service life for another 30 days and the $25, $50, and $75 refill cards will extend the service life of your SIM card for 90 days.
Tracking Your Balance & Expiration Date
At the end of each call you place or receive, the cost of the call will be deducted from your account in full-minute increments. There is no charge for calls to automated Customer Service 611.
You may dial *777# to receive a text message indicating your account balance.
You can also call 611 at any time and follow the prompts to hear your current balance and expiration date.
The system will notify you to refill your account when:
- Your account balance is at or below $5.
- Your account has 10 days left before it expire.
- Your account is too low to pay for a call.
