X-ATA 1/4" Series cases are designed and built to meet or exceed the
Airline Transportation Association (ATA), Specification 300, Cat. 1
standards. This is a brand new custom fitted ATA Case for a Fender
'57 Twin-Amp Custom Series Combo Amplifier. All
X-ATA Series 1/4" cases come standard in Black, Color cases
are also available (see below).

variety of ABS Laminate Colors, our standard color is Black, however, the
Laminates below
are available. To purchase a Laminate other than Black, please view the
XCase Options category in our store, and purchase the "ATA XCase ABS
Laminate" . If an optional Laminate is not purchased, a Black case
will be considered ordered. Please allow an additional 7 - 10 days
delivery for color cases other than Black.

All miter cuts in the
hybrid tongue and groove extrusions are accurately located to guarantee
correct lid to body case alignment. A precise, partial notch is then
made (never cut through) and the paired extrusions are bent. The
resulting miter joint is tightly closed and is therefore more impact
resistant. This step ensures proper lid closure for a longer period of
time, when compared to "cut through" valance processes. Double
angle extrusion and hybrid tongue and groove are stapled through the
interior leg every 2 to 3 inches, not simply crimped. Staples are
pneumatically driven, causing a "twist lock" action where the wood and
aluminum are penetrated, resulting in a formidable grip. Stapling,
as opposed to riveting, produces a cosmetically more appealing exterior.

assisted design techniques and a proprietary software package. You can be
