This graphic shows the CrossFire cable connection when using the ATI Radeon X1900 CrossFire Edition card as the primary video card and the ATI Radeon X1900 XT card as the supporting video card. The cable is used to link one card to the other.

When connecting dual monitors, plug one monitor into the open digital video interface (DVI) connector on the Crossfire Edition card, and plug the other monitor into the available connector on the CrossFire cable.

ATI R580XT CrossFire Cable

This is the CrossFire video cable used with the ATI Radeon CrossFire dual-card graphics solution. The cable is used to connect the two cards together while still allowing dual monitor support.

This graphic shows the CrossFire cable connection when only the ATI Radeon X1900 CrossFire Edition card is installed in the computer.

When connecting dual monitors, plug one monitor into the open digital video interface (DVI) connector on the Crossfire Edition card, and plug the other monitor into the DVI in (white) connector on the CrossFire cable.
