We often get asked about Automatic Transfer Switches - NO WE WILL NEVER SELL THEM and here is why. Legally you can NOT hook them up to your home. They are so cheap and have no electrical approval. We only sell the manual type that are UL approved and will not void your home insurance policy. If you think your getting a deal when others toss them in for free your going to find out the hard way. You just can't use it in North America. Your home has 100 or 200 amp service and those cheap transfer switches can't handle that. Also remember they switch your whole home so overloading your generator is almost guaranteed.

Generator Panel

This generator is designed to work in either hot or cold climates. For cold weather you can use the built in cold start pre-heater and the decompression leaver for easy starting.

For normal operation you will find the extra heat shielding and fire proofing not found on other generators helps keep this machine running cooler so even is the hot days of summer or on a job site.

Starting is simple. You can either use a wireless key chain remote starter or use one of the two keys provided to turn it on. Within seconds it is ready to use. You have more options on this generator for electrical hook up then most others. You will notice an extra 30 amp 120 volt receptacle. This is for those who wish use it to its full capability. (Something not possible with others on the market limited to 20 amp sockets) This generator will work with transfer switches that is sold separately. Please note our transfer switches are CSA and UL approved unlike the cheap ones sold by others that carry no electrical approval at all and can never be installed at your home.

Our simple and reliable design has been used worldwide for years. It is famous for trouble free operation. While others experiment with digital displays and other electronics we do not and here is why. This is a generator intended for emergency backup power. Too many times simple little electronics fail in every day life and render a device unusable. Part of what makes a diesel generator so popular is that there is no fancy electronics, ignition control systems and spark plugs. Now some manufactures are adding devices that has been proven on gas engines and vehicles to render it useless when a simple failure occurs. They often require special tools to fix. Improvements in engine design and fuel efficiency is wonderful however adding electronic displays and control units to generators that run at 3600 rpm and vibrate like a washing machine is a recipe for failure. Notice on this heavy duty version our regulator has been installed outside of the alternator to improve performance. Forced air now flows though the alternator easier so it runs cooler and is more stable under extreme conditions. Normally the regulator is found inside the alternator however for those who demand better quality and may run their generator more then just a few hours our improved design outperforms others.

The above photo is an example of the standard location for the voltage regulator shown here inside the alternator. For better performance and cooler operation our design has this regulator mounted externally so it does not restrict the normal forced air though the alternator and overheat as shown on this competitors product.

Exclusive New Acoustic Heat Shielding provides both thermal and acoustic insulation. Other manufactures use a aluminum foil coated fiber that offers little protection and easily breaks down.

Braided Fiberglass Sleeving is designed to protect heat sensitive wiring from high temperature applications to 1200°F. It also provides additional insulation protection for high voltage wires. It is extremely flexible, tightly braided, non-flammable, class-C fiberglass. The glass braid is fray resistant and non-corroding. This is how our generators are wired. The RED wire is an example of an unprotected wire used in other generators. This generator comes with the new larger heavier wheels shown above . The small wheel on the right found on other generators are poor quality. as the smaller bearings break easily and the rubber falls off the rim when you pull the generator. Some new designs you see on EBay now try and protect them buy putting a fender over it however it does not solve the problem. Larger wheels do!
