AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG an etching/drypoint with hand coloring by Geoffrey Lasko. Signed, titled, and numbered from an edition of 200 by the artist in pencil. Only a small percentage of the edition has been hand colored by the artist.

Notes: LASKO CANINE SUITE: Geoffrey Lasko is in the process of creating an etching for all 140 different registered American Kennel Breeds. This monumental task, which has not been accomplished before, will take the artist over three years. Lasko is a distinguished wildlife artist educated at the University of Iowa (receiving a BFA) and at the University of Denver (receiving a MFA). His work is in the collections of the Library of Congress, Washington, DC; IBM Corportation; Quaker Oats Corporation; Placido Domingo private collection; and President of the United States William Clinton to name a few among many others. Lasko work has been favorable compared to Frank W. Benson and Margrite Krimse.

Condition: In mint condition having never been framed. On medium wove white Sommerset Velvet Paper with nice deckle edges.

Measurements: Plate size 7 x 5 with a sheet size of 11 1/2 x 9 3/4.
