Original Vintage NOS Volkwagen set of Rear Fahrvergnugen mudflaps! Up for auction is an Original NOS Volkwagen set of Rear Fahrvergnugen mud flaps with hardware! These came from a Volkswagen dealer in the nineties! This RARE SET of splash guards is in excellent Deadstock condition-still sealed in the original Autobahn package! Package is marked: Distributed by Volkwagen of America ( VOA ) Inc, VW PART NUMBER; zvw-166-150 zvw166150 zvw 166 150 Intended to be put on a Golf , GTI or Jetta, I actually put my other set on my Nissan Pickup (see picture!), so can be semi-universal. Most modern rear fenders have somewhat similar angles. These are Black with an embossed silver Fahrvergnugen Logo on them! Please ignore the glare from the packaging! This is a great item to put on your Vintage or Show water cooled Vdub! Or hang in your VW garage or room!! Measures about 16.5 inches at the tallest by 8 inches at the widest. Wikipedia says this of Fahrvergnügen ; Fahrvergnügen was an advertising slogan used by the German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen in a 1989 U.S. ad campaign that included a stick figure driving a Volkswagen car. That German term means "driving enjoyment" in English (from fahren, "to drive," and Vergnügen, "enjoyment"). One of the tag lines incorporating the word was: "Fahrvergnügen: It's what makes a car a Volkswagen."
