These machines can produce an espresso of different sizes at a touch of a button or at a touch of a button you will get an espresso topped with automatically frothed milk that you call Cappuccino or a slightly different version Latte. These machines inorder to perform consistently good need some human interaction. The grind should be manually adjusted according to the humidity of the day just as you do in the regular grinders. It is also important to understand the cleaning cycle inorder to keep the milk frother from building up deposites and failing to mix correctly the amount of air and milk inorder to produce cappuccino or lattes. We have managed through hands on experience and not at all through manuals for which Italians are hardly world leaders to become quite experts in this very complex machine. It is unfair to sell the machine (the new price is between $15,000 - $20,000) only on the simplicity or (as the company suggests) its idiot proof use. I have always believed that the only idiot proof way in the restaurant business is to hier no idiots if you can help. As for this machine I am promoting it only because of the price I am able to offer and would never be a convert to the astounding high prices that these machines are sold new.
