| This specimen is an awesome Copper crystal grouping,it was collected at the Quincy mine,Houghton county ,Michigan in the very early 60's.It is 1 7/8" x 1 9/16" x 1 1/8" and weights in at 107.8 grams or 3.8 Oz's.Super size photos to the max on this one for larger and better images. The crystal grouping has so much going on it hard to really know, what type of growth habit are shown or type's.Hope the photos show this Copper crystal off,it looks to be Octahedrons modified by Hexocathedrons ,correct me if you see it different ,so I can be correct, email me.It is very massive and denese specimen,it is a very awesome specimen when it is in your hand and or collection. This is part of the mineral collection of the late Professor Donald L. Schuder of Purdue University.Buyer pays all shipping by zip or postal codes and insurance if requested. Thanks for looking and look at our store for other mineral specimens and more. |
