This very pretty bone china cup and saucer set is in the "Wilton" pattern, manufactured by Aynsley of England. This is the "Scalloped" version. This pattern was discontinued, and is apparently hard to find.

The cup stands 2 1/8" tall, and measures 3 3/4" across the top (without the handle).  The inside of the cup is richly decorated with a stone gateway and a profusion of colorful flowers. The inner rim has a scalloped design in blue and yellow. The outside of the cup has sprigs of flowers on the front and back sides. It is trimmed with gold. The condition is very good except for a few dots of wear to the glaze on the very bottom. This is shown in one of the photos.

The saucer measures 5 1/2" in diameter. It is decorated with a stone mansion and flowers. It has the blue and yellow scalloped design around the rim, and is edged with gold. Unfortunately, it has a hairline crack going across the center, all the way to one edge. It does go through to the back of the plate.  Please click on the photo to supersize.
