A fabulous and distinctive AYNSLEY TEA CUP, SAUCER and DESSERT PLATE TRIO. An antique set in an older version of the LOW DORIS cup shape with high D handle, this version has outer floral EMBOSSING.  HANDPAINTED over transfer, delicate GARLANDS of PINK and YELLOW ROSES with turquoise ribbons. Flushed with brushed GOLD and a dotted floral gold pattern over rich COBALT BLUE.  Much going on and in splendid condition, no wear, fading or damage. Super star shaped appearance for the saucer and plate. Dating 1891-1910.  Exceptional display piece...enjoy!
