Adobe no longer makes FrameMaker for Mac. This is the last FrameMaker that can be used on a Mac it has been discontinued for a while now I did some searching and one place I found that really does have this is asking over $1600.00. So if you have a Mac you should get this now because once it's gone it may not be available at a reasonable price anywhere as supplies of this version are very limited "Most vendors ran out of these already" Almost all places that say that they have these in stock are actually out of stock when you call them and will they not be getting any more, so don't be fooled into thinking that there are plenty of these around. The price on this is going up and will most likely skyrocket.

Given this range of formats, it's possible to repurpose FrameMaker documents for a variety of distribution methods, such as Web sites, database applications, and basically any program that can make good use of XML. Can display most popular raster-image formats, EPS, text insets, native Adobe Illustrator 10 files, PDFs, and now SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics). You can even import a QuickTime movie into a document; however, if you then choose to output the document to PDF, the movie won't survive the trip.
