VINTAGE WIND-UP TOY

Adorable vintage wind-up cat toy measuring approximately 6" long and 5-1/2' tall.  Featuring a faux fur covered metal toy cat with rabbit fur around the collar and a pink ribbon bow, this little cutie has orange tabby stripes, green glass eyes, a pink metal nose and mouth and even straw whiskers.  In lovely condition with no stains or damage other than slight bending of the whiskers from storage, it toy dates to the 1950s and retains original paper label marked Trade Mark ALPS Made in Japan.  By winding up the mounted metal key, kitty cat walks forward while turning its head back and forth - has a high stepping walk and even the tail vibrates from the movement - just too fun!  Adorable and sweet, it would be a nice addition to any vintage wind-up toy collection!
