This auction is for a wonderful and charming all original pair of german bisque character babies. They have bisque heads, composition baby bodies,their original wigs, eyes, teeth and clothes. They are 9" tall.
This pair of dolls belonged to the grandmother of a friend of mine. They look to me like a brother and sister, based on the hairstyle. Both have bisque socket heads and composition bent limb baby bodies.
Both dolls have blue sleep eyes, open mouths and teeth.
Both dolls have their original wigs and what I can only assume are their original knit snow suits and matching hats.
Both dolls are in excellent condition. The bisque is perfect and there are no eye chips, hairlines, socket chips, etc.
The wigs are a bit matted, and I am not about to do anything to them. They are original, and the new owner can do what they want to them.
The eyes open and close, and both dolls have their two teeth.
The composition bodies are very clean and not flaking.
The only damage is that each doll has one chipped finger, which in the scheme of things, seems to me very unimportant.
The clothes are in excellent condition and are very sweet.
Both are marked on the back of their heads PM, 914, 4/0.
This pair of dolls looks as if they never were played with.
For anyone who likes baby dolls, I can't imagine you will find a more charming pair.

Returns are accepted only if I have failed to identify damage, restoration, been incorrect about authenticity, age, or otherwise have inadverdantly misrepresented an item. I must be contacted within 24 hours of receipt of the item for approval to return it and it must be postmarked within 24 hours of my approval and be returned in the original packaging and with all labels intact. I will refund the full purhcase price, plus shipping both ways, if the error is mine. If there is any disagreement, the buyer must agree to participate in Square Trade and abide by its decision.
