About me: I have been refurbishing dolls and finding new homes for them all over the world, collecting vintage dolls, sewing vintage clothes (Baby Face dolls, Baby So Beautiful dolls, Tiny Tears, American Character dolls for about 8 years now. I am now reborning. I fell in love with this artistry and it is absolutely an art. Amazing to purchase a doll "kit" and create a reborn baby that is just that. Reborn! They look so real when I am finished it is so awesome! The techniques, which I have practiced and studied are truly an art form. I love it! Each reborn baby I make has it's own personality, and they do develop personalities as you create. It takes many hours and it is a labour of love. I still have my other refurbishing and making doll/baby clothes but this reborning has become my passion. My hope is to find families for all my precious bundles and have others enjoy them as much as I do.

Before I started bringing baby AVA to life, she was given a nice warm bubble bath to remove all factory residues.

AVA'S beautiful baby skin tones were achieved using many thin layers of premium Air Dry paints (hours drying between each layer of paint) that will last a lifetime and never fade. Each one of my babies is created using my own special blends of paints and no two babies are ever the same. I never know to the very last minute whether the baby will be a boy or a girl. An exciting time for me at this point. So much fun choosing the layettes for each gender. AVA is a beautiful little girl!

Little AVA has FULL Berenguer limbs and a custom made doe suede jointed body. Her body and head have been filled with premium glass beads (NO SAND so AVA can be a world traveler) and fiber fill. Her arms and legs have been filled with small poly pellets for a realistic feel and weight. Her body is weighted with the fine glass beads. She feels so real you won’t want to put her down.

AVA'S little fingernails and toenails have been carefully manicured for a just clipped appearance. They have been hand painted and then sealed for protection. Her lips have been painted in a soft natural rose color, glossed and sealed.

AVA has subtle hardly there blue undertones throughout her head and limbs and just the right amount of mottling for a realistic look. Every inch of her has been carefully detailed. Nothing has been overlooked on this gorgeous little gal. Her skin tones are amazing.

AVA is a sleeping baby and has been given hand rooted gorgeous light brown eyelashes to match her hand painted hair. The hair has been done in several layers and textures to achieve a gorgeous newborn babies’ hair.

She has barely there newborn eyebrows. Her little nose has been opened and backed with dark felt for added depth and realism. She is what we reborners call a BREATHER.

When AVA is being cuddled, her little head needs to be supported just as you would a real baby. Once you snuggle her in your arms, you will never want to put her down! A SNUGGLE A DAY KEEPS THE BLUES AWAY.

If I have overcharged I will reimburse the difference. Babies will be professionally packaged with brand new supplies. The boxes have been made specially to fit these precious bundles.

AVA is no longer a play doll. She is now an heirloom quality collectible and needs to be handled very gently. Not a doll for small children to play with. She should be handled like you would a newborn baby. The jointed limbs and head move easily but please do it gently. She does not like extreme hot or cold, it will effect the vinyl and not in a good way. She should never be left in a hot or cold car or displayed near any type of head source. She is very posable but do not force the limbs or head. AVA has magnets for the paci. Please take care around pacemakers and other electronics.
