Adorable Reborn "Benjamin" Andrie Stoete Blossom Baby

She used many light layers of Genesis heat set paints to give him a light skin complexion. He has very light veins and capillaries with a touch of light blushing on his head and limbs. All his wrinkles and creases have been shaded carefully. Genesis heat set paints never rub off or dull over the years and all my layers of paints have been carefully cured.  His nails have been given that 'just trimmed" look and sealed. She don't use French manicure products only 100% Genesis paints. A light coat of glaze has been added around Benjamin's eyes, nose open and mouth for a moist appearence. Benjamin has dark blue eyes.

 

His curly strawberry/blond mohair, mixing the two colors for a real  lifelike head of hair. She has processed her own mohair for this little one, coloring and conditioning it for nice soft baby hair.  A 42G German Forked needle and a 40g needle was used to gain the effect of his hair.  Benjamin's eyelashes are brown color. All hair has been glued with a waterproof glue and Benjamin's hair can be sprayed with "Baby Conditioner" to re-style. .

Just simply wet Benjamin's hair and used my fingers to curl his hair.

 

 

He was weighted to feel like a perfect baby in your arms and not overstuffed.. Tiny plastic poly pellets, non rusting steel pellets for weight, and non clumping poly fill. No sand was used. Benjamin is a very soft touchable vinyl made in Germany and so huggable. He is not overstuffed and poses easily.  His head is floppy but not as floppy as a newborns would be, he can sit up fairly well holding his own head up as long as his back is supported well.
