Our shipping weight estimate is our best guess based on experience and our method of packing. Sometimes it is a little over and sometimes we absorb a shortage. We do not add anything for handling or packing materials unless required to meet customer specifications beyond our normal practice.A postal calculator is included below for actual postage. Insurance is additional as follows: $1.70 up to $50; $2.15 up to $100; $2.60 from $100.01 to $200; $4.60 up to $300; $5.55 to $400; $6.50 to $500; $7.45 to $600 plus $.95 for every hundred over $600.
Payment is welcome via PayPal, personal check or money order and we are now able to accommodate offline Master Card and Visa. Normal shipping days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday but we will make every effort to accommodate special circumstances. Paypal usually ships within 48 hours of payment, money orders within 48 hours of receipt. Checks may be held for up to 10 days for clearance depending on feedback or prior experience.
Photos are intended to be an integral part of the description and should be carefully reviewed. Please keep in mind that antiques and vintage items are, by virtue of time and technology, rarely "mint" by modern-day standards. Items described as "perfect" may be expected to be free of damage such as chips, cracks, hairlines or excessive discoloration. They may be expected to carry reasonable signs of the sometimes less precise methods of early manufacture, or perhaps a bit of wear here and there. It's part of their charm.
We take great care to accurately represent the condition of each item, and of course, fully guarantee every item to be as described. If you feel an error has been made, please notify us immediately. Returns are accepted provided notification is received within 3 business days of receipt of your item and the item is postmarked no later than 10 days after notice. Full sale price and postage will be refunded in the event that an item is returned due to undisclosed damage or a relevent error or omission in the listing. Please be aware that some of our items will be blacklite coded to prevent switching.
We strongly support the feedback system and will promptly reciprocate upon receipt of a positive feedback from the buyer confirming that items have been received and are satisfactory.
If you have any questions or special requirements, we are always happy to answer email prior to bidding, but please allow 24 hours for a response. As a matter of policy, we typically do not respond to after auction offers or requests to end items early for private sale.
Ninety-five percent of our auctions start at $9.99 regardless of our cost or the value of the item. With this in mind, we reserve the right at our discretion to end any auction early that has not received a bid at any time during the stated listing period.
