I'm not 100% sure what this thing is. It's made from a coconut that was cut in half with a metal cone attached to it. The neck is a piece of bamboo. It measures 24 inches overall. It is a banjo-type instrument with a skin head stretched over the coconut. I have not seen another one on eBay.
There are currently four wire strings on it but there are holes for at least one more tuning peg.
It produces a sound that sounds like wire strings strung over halved coconut affixed to a bamboo neck. In short - weird and wonderful.
No one else at the jam session will have this. You'll be the envy of all your buddies.
I am lowering the price and shipping for the last two days. Better act quickly!
