Movie description
If the actor extraordinaire Jeff Bridges's Excellency were to ever be put under trial, this triple feature would be the defense's ace in the hole. In John Carpenter's unusually gentle STARMAN, Bridges plays an alien that has come down to Earth on a peaceful scouting mission and rapidly learns about the human race through his relationship with a young widow. In JAGGED EDGE, a wealthy socialite is found brutally murdered and her manipulative husband (Bridges) becomes the prime suspect. After an attractive attorney (Glenn Close) agrees to take his case, their relationship quickly evolves into what on the surface appears to be mutual love. Also included here is the romantic intrigue thriller AGAINST ALL ODDS, starring Bridges as an ex-football player whose infatuation with the wayward gangster's wife he was hired to find is not all that it seems.
