The warranty for this item is a AS IS. This warranty does not guarantee compatibility. If the item is listed as “no warranty implied – as is” there is no warranty of any kind and there will be no returns, refunds, exchanges, or chargebacks. We are not responsible for any damage caused through or by the use or misuse of this equipment. This warranty begins the day the item is received unless stated otherwise.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are not negotiable. Payment must be received within 5 days. If after 5 days, we have not received payment we will notify e-Bay of a non paying bidder, and we will re list the item. All payments must be in US dollars.
If paying by Credit Card, we will only ship to a verified address on the credit card account. For credit card payments, Buyer must provide the cardholder’s name, account number, expiration date, CVV2 Code and address where the credit card statement is shipped to.
If we are shipping to New York, California, Indiana or Virginia Buyer is responsible for paying sales tax; if Buyer is tax exempt, Buyer will need to fax a copy of this certificate to Accounting at (585) 492-0324 (this only applies to shipments in NY, CA, IN, VA. |
Shipping:
- Buyer is responsible for paying all shipping and crating costs.
- Insurance is not included, and must be requested and purchased.
- Combined shipping is available on multiple items.
- If desired, Buyer may arrange freight shipping. Contact shipping@gentechscientific.com for details and to coordinate. Additional handling and packaging fees may apply. Please request a quote prior to bidding if you intend to arrange your own freight.
- International bidders must contact us prior to bidding and request a custom quote on shipping charges.
- Items may be picked up. Forklift onsite. By Appointment only. New York State sales tax will be applied to any purchase picked up at GenTech Scientific, Inc.
- Items are generally shipped 2-3 business days after payment has been received.
Bidding Policy:
- eBay members that have been registered less than 30 days or have feedback less than 10 are REQUIRED to contact us prior to bidding or using the "Buy it Now" feature or your bids may not be accepted.
- Please ask any and all questions you may have prior to bidding. We will provide all available information in the auction but it is the Buyers responsibility to ask questions about anything not listed or covered.

- Items that are listed and purchased "AS IS" are not returnable.
- A request for return must occur within thirty (30) days of the original ship date.
- Buyer is responsible for contacting GenTech to obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) Number. Returns will not be accepted without an RMA
- The RMA is valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue. RMA numbers cannot be extended or reissued.
- Items damaged due to improper use or maintenance will not be accepted and Buyer remains responsible for full payment.
- GenTech Scientific, Inc. reserves the right to void return authorization during inspection upon receipt of goods if operator error, improper use and/or improper maintenance by Buyer is apparent.
- Shipping charges are NOT refundable. Buyer remains responsible for payment of invoiced shipping charges.
- Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges and risk of loss/damage on all return shipments. We strongly recommend proper, durable safe packing; insuring the goods for return shipment; using a reputable carrier capable of providing proof of delivery.
- 20% restocking or 5% cancellation fee will apply.

In order to cover costs incurred by GenTech Scientific in the preparation of equipment specific to Buyer needs, restocking cancellation fees will be applied per the following:
- A cancellation fee not to exceed 5% of original order will be applied to all orders cancelled that have not yet shipped.
- Orders returned by the Buyer are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- Buyer will pay all shipping, transportation and packaging fees for returns.
- If the equipment being returned is damaged at Buyer site (including during return transit), Buyer is liable for payment of the full amount of the order.

If an item is received damaged:
- Do not sign for & accept the shipment, if the box or packaging is significantly damaged.
- If the equipment was signed for and is damaged, contact GenTech Scientific, Inc. immediately.
- Keep the crate and/or packaging and take pictures of the box, and damaged equipment then email them to shipping@gentechscientific.com.
- GenTech will contact you regarding the status of your claim.
