The Agilent E2953A Traffic generator for InfiniBand 1x generates predictable InfiniBand test traffic in a fully controllable way. This means the E2953A is more as a simple data generator - reacts as an intelligent exerciser! The requirement for all developers, R&D, QA engineers and design engineers, is the ability to quickly identify and understand design anomalies early on in a product's development cycle. The Agilent E2953A traffic generator for InfiniBand 1x helps to verify the reliability of their products and components, as well as to run compliance tests to validate their products' adherence to the InfiniBand specification. The E2953A is the first traffic generator on the market for a controlled stimulus of InfiniBand traffic to test compliance, stress and error scenarios. It generates and receives arbitrary InfiniBand packets under programmatic control (C++ interface/TCL script interface). The traffic generator connects like an InfiniBand end device- generate sequences of arbitrary packets with programmatic inter-packet delay; and respond to incoming packets in real-time.
