These seats were featured on NBC's The Today Show on September 10, 2008.   The show featured a reunion of the cast of the classic comedy movie, "Airplane."  Check it out on Youtube.com!    Today Show castmembers  Al Roker and Meredith Vieira hosted Leslie Nielsen, Peter Graves, Kareem Abdul-Jabaar and Jill Whelan for a hilarious interview about the movie and it's timeless popularity.  I supplied 3 seat sets from this lot for the NBC set designers to recreate the look of a passenger cabin for the taping of the show.    These attractive seat sets became available due to KLM passenger cabin redesign and America West fleet standardization. . These seats came off KLM/America West B-747 aircraft.   All you fans of America West, here is your piece of living history. The seats are extra wide and very comfortable and come in a striking shade of light burgundy.   I only have one of these seats remaining.   The seat fabric is machine washable.  The cushions are extra thick and offer more comfort.   It has push button adjustment settings and feature seat belts, tray tables, seat back magazine pouches, in seat audio panels (channel/volume controls, etc). and much more. The seat has a fabulous "conversion" feature. The center arm rest pops out to quickly convert this seat set to a double wide "love seat" configuration. Try THAT with a home theater seat.
