This is a beautiful Akai GX-635B reel to reel recorder.  It is in fantastic cosmetic condition.  The only flaw I see is in picture 4, it looks like the top of that knob is missing.  I have checked it out the best I know how so here it is: This GX-635 B powers up like a champ as indicated in the pictures.  The reels spin when play, fast forward, and rewind are pressed.  Also when then left or right record buttons are pressed they light up.  I do not know how to use this machine, I purchased it at a local auction so I am selling it as is.  I thought about having it professionally serviced, but do not have the time, so I am selling it at a discount so you have an extra couple hundred to play with.  Also, I am including both reels and tape with this sale.  When you buy this machine, it will be delicately packed in bubble wrap and sent UPS ground with insurance.  Here are some specs I found:
