You are bidding on one half dozen (6) Red Popsicle Alaskabou Size #2. The Alaskabou fly pattern was first conceived by George Cook, and since it's original inception, it has been tied in numerous colour combinations. Our Alaskabou flies are all constructed with a flash body and palmered marabou. Palmering the marabou gives the fly a distinctive tear drop shape when drawn through the water. The Alaskabou has established a reputation as a great attractor fly for Steelhead, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, and Chum Salmon. The Alaskabou is fished by quartering downstream and retrieving the fly in short strips. The stripping takes advantage of the pulsing action of the marabou. The flies may be tied in different sizes (#4, #6) upon request and in larger sizes (#1/0, 2/0) for an additional 1.00.

All of our flies are tied by myself, a dedicated fly fisherman. I use only the highest quality Mustad, Dai Riki, Tiemco and Partridge fly fishing hooks. I use high quality Whiting, Metz and Howard's Hackle in our flies. All other materials used in the manufacture of the flies are the best quality.
