This DVD is one of the best documentaries on alcoholism we’ve ever seen.
 
You will witness, first hand, the overwhelming destruction that occurs in the later stages of alcoholism. 
 
Filmed in the UK, you will see several alcoholics suffering from the brutal effects of hardcore alcoholism.   Witness the isolation, misery and hopelessness of the alcoholic , from his hospitalization to his subsequent recovery and coping in his home  environment.  
 
 Harsh language,  unpleasant scenes,  and uncomfortability in watching are all part of this DVD . . .   . .  but the bottom line is that long term, excessive drinking, does indeed kill people, often in a very hideous way.
