He states that he does not have any right to be at this gathering, but considers it a priviledge. He surmises that his sobriety is a gift from God; and he assumes that he gets to keep it by the application of the principles. God will not sustain his selfishness and self-centeredness if he does not find an avenue to "give it away"
His first meeting was at 27 years old. AA never looked like the "answer" when he came in. It was debilitating for him to be dry, right out of prison . . his ghosts ruminating thru his head . . . he suffered and it was excruciatingly painful and crushing to him
He takes you on his journey of life and his recovery in the first two sections of these CDs. In the Third Section , he speaks on the 12 Traditions.
