As production grew, Leo Fender needed alternative woods
to produce his guitars, and Alder fit the bill perfectly.
Light weight, even grained and easy to work with,
Alder has a smooth, middle of the road tone that
can be the perfect platform for your creativity.

These bodies have classic 50's details, with a flat spot at the Jack Hole
and a "Router Hump" at the low side of the neck pocket.

This body is routed and drilled for a vintage string-through bridge.
Wiring holes and Jack holes are drilled.

Our bodies are machine sanded to 220 grit, but will require
additional sanding prior to finishing.

Neck Pockets:

Our goal is to produced guitar bodies that are economical and work for a wide
range of customers.  Because there are so many parts sources out there,
we have sized our neck pockets to fit the smallest aftermarket necks.
This means that your neck pocket may need sanding to match the
neck that you purchase.  As with all guitar custom builds, it is very
important that you check all of your parts for fit and compatibility
prior to starting finishing of your guitar.

Neck pocket is 2-3/16 Wide at base of neck
 (tapered towards head stock)
3" Long and 5/8" Deep
